Service Description
Enroll your child, ages 6 to 12, in our BJJ Kids program from 6 PM to 7 PM! Beginners train 3 times a week, fostering discipline, respect, and confidence in a fun environment. Give your child the gift of confidence, focus, and fitness with our Kids’ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program, offered three times a week! Our classes are designed to teach children essential self-defense skills while helping them develop discipline, respect, and teamwork — all in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. Led by patient and experienced instructors, each class combines skill-building drills, exciting games, and friendly sparring to keep kids motivated and engaged. Your child will improve their balance, coordination, and problem-solving skills while learning how to stay calm under pressure — both on and off the mats. Whether your child is shy or energetic, Jiu-Jitsu helps them build confidence, make new friends, and develop a strong sense of accomplishment. Cancellation Policy
Smoky Mountain Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 1. Purpose This policy establishes the responsibilities and code of conduct for all members participating in private Jiu-Jitsu classes. Its goal is to ensure a safe, respectful, and disciplined training environment for everyone. 2. Membership Requirements • Membership in private Jiu-Jitsu classes is open to individuals approved by the instructor. • All members must complete registration, submit emergency contact information, and sign this policy agreement before training begins. • Members are responsible for keeping their contact and payment information up to date. 3. Member Responsibilities • Arrive on time, properly dressed, and prepared for training. • Maintain personal hygiene and ensure uniforms (gi) are clean and in good condition. • Respect instructors, fellow students, and academy property at all times. • Follow all instructions, safety rules, and training protocols. • Refrain from using techniques learned in class for violence or misconduct outside of training. • Report any injuries, medical conditions, or physical limitations before class begins. 4. Safety and Liability • Jiu-Jitsu involves physical contact and inherent risks of injury. • Members voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation. • The academy, instructors, and staff are not responsible for injuries or damages resulting from training or related activities. • Members are encouraged to obtain personal health insurance that covers sports or martial arts. 5. Payments and Cancellations • Payment for private sessions must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed. • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged. • Refunds are not provided once sessions have started, except in cases of serious medical emergencies verified by documentation. 6. Conduct and Discipline • Disrespectful, unsafe, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. • The instructor reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership at any time for violations of this policy or unsafe conduct, without refund. • Members must treat others with integrity, humility, and professionalism inside and outside the academy. 7. Property and Equipment • Members are responsible for proper use and care of academy facilities and training equipment. • Any damage caused by negligence may result in repair or replacement costs. 8. Confidentiality and Media Use • Members’ personal information is kept confidential.
